1. Yummy Paneer Cutlet Recipe for Navratri

As you all know that Paneer is the a great source of calcium & protein, this recipe will drive your body’s health needs too. This is one of the best easy to make healthy Navratri fasting recipes & a must try dish during the Vrats.

Ingredients you Require:

  • Coriander Leaves  –  1 bowl
  • Green Chillies  –  2 pieces
  • Chopped Ginger  –  1 spoon
  • Ghee  –  100gm
  • Singhare ka aata ( Flour)  –  50gm
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes  –  200gm
  • Lemon Juice  –  1 spoon
  • Coconut powder  –  2 tbsp
  • Cashew Nut ( Kaaju)  –  10
  • Munakka dry fruit   –  20
  • Paneer Pieces  – 50gm
  • Jeera ( cumin seeds)  –  1 spoon
  • Sindha Namak ( Salt)  –  As per taste
  • Black Pepper ( Kali Mirch)  –  As per taste

Method to Prepare:

  • Take a frying pan ( Kadai) and put some Ghee in it.
  • Add cumin seeds in it.
  • Grind coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger in mixer and make their paste.
  • Pour 1 tbsp paste in the frying pan.
  • Now add singhare ka aata in that paste and mix it well.
  • Add all other ingredients leaving coconut powder in the mixture.
  • Cook it for 5 min.
  • Now take out that mixture in a plate and keep it aside for few minutes so that it can become cool.
  • Take some mixture in your hand and make cutlet shapes of it.
  • Wrap the cutlets in coconut powder.
  • Now pour Ghee in a frying pan and turn on the flame.
  • When it gets heated up, put the cutlets in the frying them and fry them till they get brown and crispy.

2. Apple Paratha Recipe for Navratra

As you all know the saying – “An Apple a day keeps a doctor away.” Try this healthy & simple, yet traditional Apple Paratha Navratri fasting recipes for you and your family.

Ingredients you Require:

  • Boiled and Mashed Potato  –  1 bowl
  • Grated Apple  –  1/2 bowl
  • Coriander Leaves  –  1 bowl
  • Green Chillies  –  2 pieces
  • Chopped Ginger  –  1 spoon
  • Ghee  –  100gm
  • Sindha Namak ( Salt)  –  As per taste
  • Black Pepper ( Kali Mirch)  –  As per taste
  • Singhare ka aata ( Flour)  –  100gm
  • Rajgiri ka aata  –  50gm
  • Jeera ( cumin seeds)  – 1 spoon
  • Grated Paneer  –  50gm

Method to Prepare:

  • Pour some Ghee in a frying pan and put it on flame.
  • Add cumin seeds in it.
  • Grind coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger in mixer and make their paste.
  • Pour 1 tbsp paste in the frying pan.
  • Now add apple, grated paneer, anardana, mashed potatoes, sindha namak and black pepper in it.
  • Mix them well and take it out in a big bowl.
  • Add singhare ka aata and rajgiri ka aata in the mixture.
  • Pour some lukewarm water in the mixture and make dough.
  • Now make small balls of that dough and make their parathas.
  • Take a tawa and pour some ghee on it.
  • Cook parathas on medium or low flame till they get brown.

3. Potato Apple Fries Recipe

Ingredients you Require:

  • Potato  –  1 Piece
  • Apple  –  1 Piece
  • Paneer  –  50 gm
  • Sindha Namak ( salt)  –  as per taste
  • Lemon Juice  – 1 spoon
  • Ghee  –  100gm
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves  –  1/4 bowl
  • Jeera  –  1 spoon

Method to Prepare:

  • Wash the potatoes and apples before making this chaat.
  • Now peel them off.
  • Slice the potatoes, apples and paneer in thin or thick strips as you like.
  • Now add some ghee in the pan.
  • Deep fry the sliced apples, panner and potatoes till they that golden brown.
  • Extract them in a bowl and sprinkle some salt, black pepper and lemon juice on it.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Ingredients you Require:

  • Sabudana  –  200gm
  • Coriander Leaves  –  1 bowl
  • Green Chillies  –  2 pieces
  • Chopped Ginger  –  1 spoon
  • Lemon Juice  –  1 tbsp

  • Boiled Potato  –  1/2 bowl

  • Raw banana ( kacha kela)  –  1/2 bowl
  • Anardana ( Pomegranate seeds)  –  1/2 bowl
  • Cashew Nut ( Kaaju)  –  20
  • Almonds  –  10
  • Munakka dry fruit   –  20
  • Peanuts  –  30 gm
  • Coriander Leaves  for garnish
  • Grapes  –  50gm

Method to Prepare:

  • Soak the sabudana in water for 2 hrs.
  • Now sieve it and drain the water.
  • Keep it aside so that it can dry.
  • Now slice the potatoes, apple and banana.
  • Take a pan and add some ghee in it.
  • Sprinkle some jeera in it.
  • Grind coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger in mixer and make their paste.
  • Pour 1 tbsp paste in the frying pan and cook it for 2 min.
  • Mix sabudana, chopped green chillies and sliced fruits in the ginger chillies paste.
  • Sprinkle salt, lemon juice and black pepper on it.
  • Now add dry fruits ( cashew nuts, almonds, munakka, peanuts, anardana)  in it.

5. Paneer Mirchi Bade – Healthy Navratri fasting Recipes

Celebrate your Navratra fasting with this healthy recipe. It makes use of mashed potatoes & lemon juice too. Moreover, its more tasty than it looks like..!

Ingredients you Require:

  • Green Chillies  –  4-5 pieces
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes  –  150gm
  • Lemon Juice  –  1 tbsp
  • Sindha Namak  –  As per taste
  • Ghee  –  150gm
  • Black Pepper  –  1 spoon
  • Coriander Leaves, green chillies and ginger paste  –  1tbsp
  • Cashew nut  –  10
  • Munakka  –  20
  • Jeera  –  1 spoon
  • Singhara  and rajgiri ka aata  –  30-30gm
  • Grated Paneer  –  150gm
  • Coconut powder  –  1 spoonstuffed mirchi bada - healthy navratra fasting recipes

Method to Prepare:

  • Take a pan and pour some ghee in it.
  • When it get heated up, sprinkle some jeera in it.
  • Put coriander- chilli paste, mashed potatoes, paneer, coconut powder, cashew nuts, munakka in the pan.
  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper on it.
  • Mix it well and Cook it for 5 min and keep it aside.
  • Now take the green chillies and cut them vertically from middle.
  • Extract its seeds and stuff the chillies with the cooked mixture.
  • Now take a bowl. Add rajgiri and singhara flour and salt in it.
  • Pour some water in it and make thick solution of it.
  • Now dip the stuffed chillies in that solution.
  • Take a frying pan and put some ghee in it to fry.
  • When ghee gets heated up, leave the stuffed dipped chillies in the frying pan and fry them till they get brown.
