Is your cosmetics tidying you, making you excellent or showing you the signs of aging.. ??
Your cosmetics and makeup mistakes will make you look 10 years older than you are.. If you want to look younger even after makeup then follow these anti aging skin care tips for women. Makeup was created to help us look prettier and to enhance our natural features, but there are some beauty mistakes that we often make that can make us look older.
Excessive Use of Foundation
Excessive use of foundation, hides the thin lines of your face, that steals the glow of your face. Forget the rule that says your foundation must exactly match your complexion. Skin grows more pallid with age, so a shade that’s a dead ringer for yours can leave you looking pasty. So, use foundation only on those areas where it is necessary instead of applying a thick coat on the whole face. When buying a foundation, avoid those described as “matte,” “velvet,” and “long-wearing”; look for sheer liquid formulas with light-diffusing pigments. If your skin is rough or dry, then after applying foundation, it will give patchy look. Clean your face at least 2-3 times in a week and apply moisturizer after cleansing. Choose a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer and after you apply it, press a damp makeup sponge into areas where you have wrinkles to soak up any excess.
Finishing with powder
Youthful skin reflects light. Powders prevent light reflection and tend to magnify lines in the skin. If the powder has been the final step of your makeup routine since high school, it can be difficult to quit this habit in as you grow older. So, start using light powder in early stage. After some days start using it only on nose and chin. After few days start blotting powder with the tissues. And another simple tip: if you want to look younger, never apply powder on the area around your eyes.
Over-concealing your under-eye circles
A thick concealer that comes in a stick or pot will eradicate the shadows under your eyes, but it will also draw attention to the crepiness and fine lines that usually show up in that area first (because the skin there is thin). To keep concealer from drawing attention to wrinkles, apply it only on the inner halves of your under eyes to cover up any darkness. Or, skip a traditional concealer altogether, as Linter often does, and use a brush-on highlighter pen. Put it only in dark areas, not under the entire eye.
Smiling while applying the blush.
Blush is a wonderful tool that normally helps freshen your face and flatter the color of your skin. But when you apply it the wrong way, it can add age. Smile, find the fleshiest part of your cheeks and apply color just slightly above it. Apply color on the highest point on your cheekbones, not too close to the nose, and lift it upward with a brush that’s large enough to cover the whole cheekbone.
Thick formula of mascara
Avoid tugging at the outer corners of your eyes. Playing up your lower lashes can make your eyes look droopy and draw attention to dark circles. Instead, curl your upper lashes and wiggle a Volumizing mascara into their roots and slowly through the ends for the most uplifting effect. Coat your top lashes with the blackest black mascara you can find—”it will make the whites of your eyes look clearer and whiter,”
